Excursions and sights in the area

Altinoluk – center (approx. 1.5 km from the hotel): Explore Altinoluk on foot. Here you will find shops and excellent restaurants, cafes and bars.

Kaz Mountains (Kaz Dağı – approx. 40 km from the hotel): The Kaz Mountains are a national park and cover an area of ​​around 21,000 hectares. There are 40 different types of plants here, making it a worthwhile destination.

Cunda Island (also called Alibey – approx. 70 km from the hotel): The island is the largest island before Ayvalık. There are many historical places such as churches, monasteries and museums to discover. But also quiet and scenic places are waiting for you.

Devil’s Table (Şeytan Sofrası – approx. 75 km from the hotel): According to a myth, in ancient times the devil performed a dance on top of the rock, leaving deep marks on the rock with his feet. You can reach Şeytan Sofrası by car or by hiking. Once at the top, you will be rewarded with a fantastic view of the surrounding landscape, the deep blue Aegean Sea, all the way to the Greek island of Lesbos.

Sütüven Waterfall (Sütüven Şelalesi – approx. 25 km from the hotel): Sütüven Waterfall is one of the natural beauties of Kaz Mountains National Park.

Sahinderesi Gorge (Şahinderesi Kanyonu – approx. 2 km from the hotel): The gorge is an absolute MUST for nature lovers. Here you will find peace, clean air and natural spring water flowing from a waterfall.

Behramkale – Assos Tour (approx. 40 km from the hotel): Here you should definitely visit the ruins of the ancient city of Assos with the temple of Athena. Today’s Turkish village is called Behramkale and is also worth a visit.
